These very popular transportation option will soon be back on the road! But what are Minnie Vans? Minnie Vans are a private vehicle service at Walt Disney World, operated similarly to Uber or Lyft, but operated by Cast Members in Minnie Mouse-inspired cars.
When planning your vacation to Disney World, one of the first things you’ll want to think about is what Disney Resort you’ll want to stay at. The Walt Disney World Resort offers 25 hotels to choose from! So how do you choose the perfect resort?
During our first conversation, I will ask you a series of questions to help find the right resort for your family’s wants and needs. One of the questions I ask is “What resort category would you like to stay in? Value, Moderate, or Deluxe?” Most people will want the cheapest option, then when they arrive at their resort are disappointed to find some amenities that are not at the resort. What they wanted was truly a Moderate or Deluxe. So what’s the difference between Value, Moderate, and Deluxe? There are a variety of ways each travel advisor explains the difference. Value and Moderate Resorts are going to be more of a “motel layout.” Meaning you enter your room from an outside corridor. If you want a true hotel feel, a Deluxe will be worth looking at. I like to ask what is important to you out of six main amenities offered. Here’s a breakdown: Walking in The Grand Californian, I instantly felt at home. And no, it’s not because the woodsy theme reminds me of Colorado, it was the bellman who greeted me and walked me to the front desk. Then, I met Connie as she checked me in. It was like I was talking to a long lost friend! Did I mention I checked in at 10pm? Within the first 7 minutes of stepping foot into the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, I knew this was going to be a good stay. The Lunar New Year Celebration is back at Disney’s California Adventure Park! This limited-time event – which runs now through Feb. 13, 2022 – is a lovely tribute to Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean cultures with, of course, that touch of Disney magic. 2022 is the Year of the Tiger! Let’s take a look at some things you can expect during the celebration and a few of my favorite activities! Earlier this week I stayed at the Hilton Anaheim. It was a nice two night refresh after the busy holiday season. I used my Hilton Honors points for the stay. The last time I stayed here was seven years ago, so it was time for another stay to see what has changed. Not a lot to be honest. Here are my four pros and cons of the Hilton Anaheim:
Wake up in the middle of the magic when you stay at a one of the hotels at the Disneyland Resort! Each hotel of the three offers their own unique personalities as well as offering for guests to enjoy and relax in. Best of all, the magic of Disney is steps away from your room! We’ll take a brief look at the three on-property resorts you can choose from - Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, the Disneyland Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
Got Disney World on your mind? Here’s an extra treat to entice your next family vacation this month. When you book a four night or longer Walt Disney World Vacation Package with a minimum of 3-Day theme park tickets, you'll be entered to win this amazing gift! The Mickey’s Kool Snack will be delivered to your Walt Disney World resort room upon check-in. It’s official, Disney has announced the retirement of the fan favorite FastPass. Rumors have been swirling around for several months about if FastPass will return, how it will be changed, or even if it will come back at all. Once Disneyland Paris debuted Premier Access, (a paid service to gain access to shorter lines) to me, it seemed like a matter of time until the Disney Theme Parks Stateside would follow their lead and roll out with a paid FastPass type service.
