When planning your vacation to Disney World, one of the first things you’ll want to think about is what Disney Resort you’ll want to stay at. The Walt Disney World Resort offers 25 hotels to choose from! So how do you choose the perfect resort?
During our first conversation, I will ask you a series of questions to help find the right resort for your family’s wants and needs. One of the questions I ask is “What resort category would you like to stay in? Value, Moderate, or Deluxe?” Most people will want the cheapest option, then when they arrive at their resort are disappointed to find some amenities that are not at the resort. What they wanted was truly a Moderate or Deluxe. So what’s the difference between Value, Moderate, and Deluxe? There are a variety of ways each travel advisor explains the difference. Value and Moderate Resorts are going to be more of a “motel layout.” Meaning you enter your room from an outside corridor. If you want a true hotel feel, a Deluxe will be worth looking at. I like to ask what is important to you out of six main amenities offered. Here’s a breakdown:

Walking in The Grand Californian, I instantly felt at home. And no, it’s not because the woodsy theme reminds me of Colorado, it was the bellman who greeted me and walked me to the front desk. Then, I met Connie as she checked me in. It was like I was talking to a long lost friend! Did I mention I checked in at 10pm?
